Where’d the name Oogie come from?
A bunch of us at Oogie’s went to college together. In fact that’s where we all met. Oogie was the nickname of one of our roommates, Doug DeMarco. Now it seems like everywhere we go someone’s got an “Oogie” story to tell us.
How long has Oogie’s been around?
Probably not as long as you might guess. We ‘practiced’ for much of 2004 and 2005, trying out different flavors and recipes, sampling it out to all our friends and family here in Colorado, figuring out how to get it into stores, etc. We were up at 3am every day making it, bagging it, delivering it, demo-ing it, and then doing it all again the next day. Everyday. And once we thought we had something special, we took the show to Broadway and went retail. We shipped our first Oogie’s order on the last day of 2005 and it’s been a trip ever since.
Is Oogie’s really all-natural?
Of course! What kind of question is that? You think we’d put it on the bag if it wasn’t all-natural? I mean, really.
What about Kosher? Gluten-Free?
Yes and Yes! And no trans-fat, very low saturated fat, no cholesterol…wow we’re really good for you.
Where can I pick up some Oogie’s?
Lots of places, with new retailers coming aboard all the time. Check out our “WHERE TO BUY” section, - it should make finding Oogie's a breeze.
How about if I want to sell Oogie’s?
Well, as long as we’re talking above-board here, you know, no black-market Oogie’s being traded in shady back-room dealings, then if you just send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief description about your business, we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Aren’t you guys friends with that rising young actor Adam Leiberman?
Why yes! Adam went to school with us, too, and he also knew Oogie. Adam’s been in a ton of shows and commercials. Maybe you’ve seen him on Dexter, NCIS, Bones, or any of the other many shows on which he’s appeared. Here’s his IMDB PAGE (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0509358/) if you want to know more.
Gosh you guys seem like a lot of fun. How can I keep tabs on what you’re up to?
You can follow us on Facebook, for starters. Definitely join our FB page and make your presence known!
Has anyone in the entire history of rock and roll ever mattered more than Lou Reed?
